Snippets on the blog site that has made it so successful! In celebration of this resounding success we have decided to take things one step further! Your published work, both via the blog and soon the online journal due out this January 2015 will also be featured on an all NEW .com
website!
Services
At The Wicked Academic, our goal is to create a multidisciplinary approach to learning via a network of like minded academics! Everyone has something to offer, it just depends on what YOU want to offer! We are presently seeking to fill several gaps including but not limited to an editorial board comprised of both students and teachers. Don't think you have what it takes? Unless you try you will never know! Students are especially encouraged to participate! Other plans in the works include tutoring, workshops, online classes including ESL! So check back often, we just might be able to help you!
Publishing
Part of what we do is help you build your writing skills and gain confidence! We accomplish this through helping students through the editing process. This begins first and foremost in the classroom. Students should always seek advice and help from their teachers and where and if possible, any available writing workshops or services at your academic institution. Once we receive your work we review and make editorial suggestions to help bring your work up to industry standards. We cater to three types of publications including
Snippets and an online
Journal all with the aim of getting your work into the wider academic community! We are also considering the the possibility of creating academic
Books that will highlight student contributions. Published for students and in part by students I trust that you will continue to help make The Wicked Academic your own and submit your work for
